The format
Board Beat organises offline casino-themed and other themed events. Casino-style activities use symbolic play chips or points with no cash value. Guests do not stake real money, and no cash or prizes of real-world value are awarded based on play. There are no deposits, betting services, online casino accounts or gambling wallets. The emphasis is on hosted interaction, atmosphere and conversation.
Our adult-event policy
Our service has a 20+ business policy for non-gambling adult-themed events. This is a policy of the service, not a claim that the event is licensed casino gambling. New Zealand’s statutory age restriction for licensed casino gambling areas is a separate rule and should not be confused with the format described here.
Comfort and participation
Tell us about access needs, activity preferences and the composition of the group. Hosts can explain the chosen activities and support a relaxed pace. Participation can be optional, and the plan can include social areas for guests who prefer to talk. Venue access, safety and alcohol rules are considered separately as part of the event arrangements.
Charity and other event activities
If an event includes charitable fundraising or an auction, those activities require their own lawful arrangements and must remain separate from casino-style play outcomes. No symbolic chips or points may be exchanged for donations, auction credit, cash or valuable prizes. Any proposed change to the format must be discussed before the event.
