Board Beat is an event organisation service based in Wellington, working with corporate organisers and private hosts on occasions in New Zealand. Our focus is on groups of up to 50 guests and programmes of up to 9 hours. We bring the theme, the room and the running order into one conversation, so the event has a clear purpose as well as a distinctive atmosphere.
Casino-themed evenings are one part of that work. Hosted tables can create a social meeting point for colleagues, clients or friends. The wider service includes awards nights, gala dinners, team-building programmes, launches, milestones, staff appreciation events and a broad range of private themes. The format is chosen for the occasion, rather than asking every group to fit the same evening.
We start by understanding the people in the room. What brings them together? What needs to happen during the programme? Which details would make the occasion feel personal? Those answers help us prioritise the elements that matter and make sensible choices about the space, entertainment and budget.
